Tableau - Additional Steps since Tableau 2019.4 ​

Context ​

Since version 2019.4, when users use filters containing fields computed in tableau (and not table fields), Tableau sends 'non-hive compliant' queries that result in error in Indexima.
As a workaround, Indexima created a TDC file.

Procedure for Tableau Desktop users ​

  1. Download the files from the indexima dossier.

  2. Copy those files into the following folder:

    \My Documents\My Tableau Repository\Datasources

Procedure for Tableau Server in a Windows environment ​

  1. Download the files from the indexima dossier.
  2. Copy those files into the following folder:
    \ProgramData\Tableau\Tableau Server\data\tabsvc\vizqlserver\Datasources

Note: To save the file, you must be a Windows Administrator on the server computer.

Procedure for Tableau Server in a Linux environment ​

  1. Download files from the indexima dossier.

  2. Copy those files into the following folder:
