What is a Smart Table
A smart table is a SQL table with the capacity to create and remove indexes by itself! There is no need of running the Analyzer since it would be automatically run.
How Smart Table works
Amongst all tables provided to BI users, how would you choose tables to be first optimized?
Each smart table will get a score (based on Execution time, ...). This notation leads to the list of tables that need to be first optimized.
During a time window (specified by an admin user), the engine will optimize the most needed tables. The type of analysis that you want to run on each table using optimized_index.json can be chosen
In Developer Console, you can define a table to become a smart table in the Table Overview, by choosing a "Smart Optimizers".
