Expired License

Overview

When executing a SELECT command, the following message appears when the license has expired:

Error while processing statement: Your license has expired (code 'READ_FAIL')

The solution is updating the Indexima license.

Indexima license is stored in a indexima.lic file you get from the sales department.

Update Indexima license though the Monitor Interface (Since 1.7.7)

  • Go to the license page.
  • Rights access on this page are managed here

  • Drop your Indexima license

  • Select ACTIVATE

  • Get a confirmation message that the license has been updated

Note that license is instantaneously updated and no restart is required.

Update Indexima license by uploading a file on Indexima server

Copy the indexima.lic file in the directory indexima/galactica/conf. The license is periodically checked and when a SELECT command is issued. No restart is required.

Update Indexima license though the Monitor Interface (before 1.7.7)

Note that updating the license through this interface is temporary. License is only valid for 24h at maximum (whatever the expiration date would be)

  • Go to the license page

  • Enter the key

  • Press the button ACTIVATE
  • Get a confirmation message that the license has been updated
